How To Choose Air Beds To Meet Your Sleeping Style

The best advantage of air bed is with their flexibility and adaptability. They can be easily used by anyone, no matter whether he/she is a side sleeper or back sleeper etc. But choosing a right air bed which fits your lifestyle is a challenging task. Market is filled with air beds with various types, style, brands and price ranges. So how you will select one for you and your familiy?

This article summarizes general tips which should be considered while buying an air bed for you based on what type of sleeper you are.  Just make sure you consult your doctor in case of any problem. Leave me a comment and share your experiences with these air beds.

1
Back Sleepers - Back sleeper have a lesser weight per inch placed on their body as compared to the side sleepers, thus back sleepers have a larger area to lie down. Thus it is advisable for back sleepers to for a firm mattress. A firm mattress helps keeping the back (spine) straight and offers an active resistance to spine.
2
Side Sleepers - A side sleeper should go for a mattress which is neither too soft and neither firm as for back sleepers. A best mattress for side sleeper is the one which is convenient and supportive for natural curves and bumps offered by the side sleep. To prevent pelvis rotation in night it is advisable to keep a pillow in between your legs. This will also ensure a proper spine alignment for you.
3
Stomach Sleepers - Stomach sleepers should go for a soft mattress which can enable them to sleep without a pillow. A posture of stomach sleeper can be quite irritating as it leads to pain in neck and back which is due to the turning around of neck to one side.
4
All Sleepers - For all sleepers a mattress which goes with the natural shapes and curves of body while providing an effective support to the body is just ideal. Be very cautious and always remember to keep a pillow in between your legs while sleeping side ways and while sleeping on stomach it is advisable to put pillow under your pelvis to ensure a sound sleep and reduced stomach movement.
