How To Take Care Of Infant Twins

Its great to become a proud mama of twin stars, but it is equally difficult too. Caring and raising a child is a round the clock task and with twins, everything gets doubled but so does the joy! Be it feeding, playing or changing nappies, dealing with twins can be fun and yet a task. They keep you on your toes and when both get demanding, its a puzzle to solve. Though you may eventually adjust yourself with this routine too, here are some of the tips that may help you to ease your tasks.

Your skills are tried right from their birth. It may be a difference in the sleep schedule or the feeding one. You will have to start practicing the knack right from day one. The hospital staff may give you valuable tips on to this. If you know someone who has twins, share their experiences as well.

Raising a child involves finances as well and with two kids, even this factor is doubled. You will have to plan on this even before they are born. You cannot and should not compromise on quality hence look out for concessions, bulk purchases and discounts well in advance and keep yourself updated.

Time management is another skill you need to master. Plan your schedule so that you do not get over exerted and can have some time for yourself as well. If you have helping relatives and friends, you are lucky or else you can look out for paid labor. If you are a working mom you might as well extend your break a bit.

The competency of kids with each other is also equally important. In the infant age they may have matching or contrasting schedules. As they grow up they may start understanding each other and you need to play a vital role in this.

Don't let dad escape! Dads of twins are usually more adapting and understanding. The daily scene teaches them too to come forward and offer help wherever it is possible. If this is balanced, half the problems are solved and the rest can be balanced by both of you.
