Boopy pillows are favorite nursing pillows of all lactating mothers. Research has shown that these pillows have several advantages, but at the same time these pillows have many side effects too. The negative feedbacks of many lactating mothers are summarized below, so make sure you keep all this points in mind before buying Boppy nursing pillows for your delicate baby.

The boopy pillow loses its stability and firmness after some time making it harmful and injurious for the baby. The pillow loses its shape and bends in one direction. It can seriously affect your baby's neck muscles.

Many women have found boppy nursing pillow as soft and spongy which make them ineffective and useless.

It has been said that the boppy nursing pillows were initially not designed to support the lactating mother during pregnancy. But later on everybody started using those pillows as breastfeeding pillow which is again a contradiction.

Another problem with boppy pillow states that there is no waterproofing material used under the cover to protect the pillow itself from Baby dribbles and excess milk and gets smelly and stained after some time.

The breastfeeding pillows are machine washable. You can also go for pillows with zip cover, so as you can remove and wash cover as and when required. But in some versions of boppy pillows this feature is missing.
