Tips On Buying A Play Yard Babies are notorious to keep their mom at toes all day. The best way to complete your chores is while the baby is fast asleep. But your baby may not be the one, who is going to sleep as per your need. Buying a play yard for the child can be a good solution for the mommy to do her chores on time. The play yard has to be safe and secure so as when the mom is busy and if the child, by chance left unattended should be absolutely safe. But never leave your baby alone in the play yard. Check the features of the play yard and its style before buying. Features like a bassinet, diaper change, canopy, storage pockets, mobile, locking mechanism, MP3, wheels etc are available. Tips To Follow:

 
Check the play yard for the stress it can endure. It can be unsafe for the child. It has to be well locked so as for the safety is concerned. The worn out parts have to be replaced or checked before buying.
 
Choose to accommodate your needs accordingly. Consider your childs necessities. A play yard which is large in size may have more features and is heavier enough to stand firm. It will be difficult for transportation. Small play yards can be moved easily as per requirements.
 
Buy a play yard as per your space available in the house. Small ones can be stored and are compact enough. If you have small rooms then buying a folding play yard is a better option.
 
Always fix a proper mattress in your play yard. Buy the one which comes with mattress. As a mattress will be safe, even if the child falls on its head and the comfort level for a child will be better with the mattress.
 
The play yard should have proper rooms for wipes, diapers, toys etc. Avoid keeping a blanket or any such thing in the play yard, to prevent choking of the child.
