It is an important part of development of the child. Each mother has to be choosy about the toys she buys for her infant. Toys of different ages are different. Hence these mobile toys will be useful for a certain period. As the baby grows it will try to pull the toy towards him. So check the toy for its firm grip while buying. Tips to keep in mind while buying crib toys:

Buy crib toys with basic colours in them like white, black, blue, red, yellow, green. These bright colours can be easily visual to the baby. Soft or light colours cannot be seen by the infants. They do not have a clear vision for soft colours in their early days.

The mobile toy should have reasonable toys hanging on it. If they are too many toys hanged the baby cannot locate to one particular toy and will loose interest.

As the baby lies flat on its back it will be easy for him to view the horizontal toys rather than the vertical ones. The vertical toy will show only its down part or the seat, if it is a particular kind of an animal. Face of the toy is important for its identity as we all have one.

Cribs toys can be in various designs. Try and buy a complicated or attractive pattern. It will be more fun and interesting for the baby. They might be a little expensive but are worth buying. Choose a one that has horizontal view. It is easy for the child to look at lying down.

It is always better to have a crib toy with some music. Music calms the crying baby. This toy is also useful on the changing table while doing the important chores.

Check for the operation of toys regarding the volume or the variety of nursery rhymes. You can buy the manually operated one which needs winding. Generally the basic ones are battery operated. Manual operated are durable but may be frustrating to do the winding again and again. Battery operated is expensive and keeps playing longer. But there are chances of breaking easily. You need to keep batteries at home when ever necessary for the toy to play.
